About us

Dragon Creek Ranch started with a farm, a leap of faith, and, unexpectedly, a bar of soap.
We took on this land in 2024, ready to build something lasting for our family. What we didn't expect was how much it would take to get there. Not long after we started, we found ourselves in a financially devastating situation, unsure how we were going to keep the farm we'd just committed everything to.
Around that same time, I was dealing with my own struggle: years of frustrating, expensive skin issues that no prescription seemed to fix. Out of that search for relief, I rediscovered something simple: grass-fed tallow.
I won't say it's a cure, but it has genuinely helped me manage what I deal with, in a way nothing else had. So I started making it myself.

The first batch wasn't meant to be a business at all... it was wedding favors. We gave our guests handmade tallow soap as a small thank-you for celebrating with us. But people loved it. They kept asking where they could get more.
That question turned into Dragon Creek Ranch.
What started as a way to help save our farm has become something bigger: a small, family-run operation built on grass-fed tallow, organic ingredients, and the belief that what you put on your skin should be as honest as what you'd put on your table. Every bar is still made by hand, on our land, here in Northwest Georgia.
The name comes from something personal to us, too. The dragons and dragonflies that show up throughout our branding aren't just decoration. They're a nod to the mythical and the everyday living side by side, the same way our farm holds both the hard, unglamorous work of building something from nothing, and the small bit of magic it took to get here.
Thank you for being part of that story - whether you found us at a farmers market, through a friend, or right here on this page. We're glad you're here.
Warmly,
Crystal, Dan, & Family
